Windsor Public Library — Central Branch

Knowledge at the centre of the city

Windsor Public Library's Central Branch caters to individuals in the city center and provides access to information, reading and learning resources. Library services include books and other materials, reference and research support, internet access, computers and employment information. The Central Resource Library originally opened at 850 Ouellette Avenue in 1973, later operated temporarily at 185 Ouellette Avenue, and relocated to 400 City Hall Square in September 2026. The new downtown location continues the library's role as a public resource for students, families, researchers and lifelong learners.
